Inspecting airframes, replacing components, signing off aircraft — the safety of every flight depends on your expertise. Now you can get paid for it.
The Observer Programme pays experienced AMEs to record their working day using lightweight smart glasses. Aircraft maintenance is one of the highest-earning specialisms on the programme.
How it works

What you'll earn
€110–€180 per recorded hour
€330–€540 per recording day (based on ~3 hours)
€4,000–€6,000 per month (based on 20 recording days)
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience
- Currently working with valid licence (EASA Part-66 / FAA A&P or equivalent)
- Hands-on work: inspection, component replacement, fault diagnosis, release to service
- Smartphone (iOS or Android)
All specialisms welcome: line maintenance, base maintenance, avionics, helicopter maintenance, military aircraft.
