Lift Engineer — The Expertise Behind Every Floor

Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting lifts in confined shafts — that's specialist mechanical skill. Now you can get paid for it.

The Observer Programme pays experienced lift engineers to record their working day using lightweight smart glasses.

How it works

• Wear smart glasses while you work
• Record sessions from 30 minutes up
• Spend a few minutes after each session confirming what tasks you did
• Get paid per recorded minute
• All recordings are anonymised — no faces, no voices, no identifying details

What you'll earn

€28–€42 per recorded hour

€112–€168 per recording day (based on ~4 hours)

€2,000–€2,800 per month (based on 20 recording days)

First Observers earn a launch bonus. Extra earnings possible through referral bonuses.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of lift engineering experience
• Currently working — employed or contract
• Hands-on work: installation, maintenance, fault-finding, modernisation
• Smartphone (iOS or Android)

All specialisms welcome: new installation engineer, maintenance and service engineer, escalator engineer, platform lift engineer.

We provide everything
